Toddler Trickery

Why are toddlers so darn picky at mealtime?! Sometimes Jake only wants to eat white food, crunchy food, soft food, warm food, ahhh! Without the ability to tell me what he wants right now it can be challenging.

I'm still trying to figure it out but here are a few sneaky tricks to make sure they get their veggies and protein that I've learned from friends, family and our amazing nanny Ashley.


- Crunchy lentil curls + veggie burgers stuffed inside!

- Macaroni & Cheese with veggies
(Love this recipe from Siri)

- Costco Energy Bars
(8 grams of protein!)

- Puffed pea snack

- Veggie pizzas

- Peanut Butter Larabars

- Hummus with anything - carrots, pretzels, etc
