Salsa-tastic

Look at those big ole chunks of garlic, yum...
I have on more than one occasion eaten salsa and chips as a meal. Its just so good and there are lots of tasty variations. Here a few of my favorites as well as a couple a I'd like to try:

La Salsa Chilena

A friend introduced me to this crazy South American style salsa. It's the best store bought salsa I've ever had. Unfortunately its only sold in Southern California right now.

Cranberry Avocado Salsa

I made Siri's Cranberry Avocado salsa for the first time around the holidays and ate the whole bowl without sharing... oops!  I added a little extra honey to give it a little more of a salty sweet flavor.

Tomatillo Avocado Salsa

I love a good green salsa and my friend Jaymee has a great recipe I'd like to try but it does seem like a little more prep than this working mom can do right now so maybe I can convince her to make it for me next time she's in town :)

3 Ingredient Salsa

I'd like to try this easy salsa recipe. Hard for me to believe it only needs 3 ingredients but broiling everything seems to give it a lot of flavor and that's definitely worth a shot.

Mama Riley's Easy-Peasy Pico

I make this salsa a lot because its so easy and satisfies that fresh pico de gallo fix. Throw these ingredients in a bowl and mix:
- 2-3 diced tomatoes (also good with small grape tomatoes)
- 1-2 diced avocados
- 1/2-1 diced red onion
- handful of chopped cilantro (optional)
- A lot of fresh lime and lemon juice
- pinch of salt
