Baby Boom!

I think there might be something in the water in Southern California... I feel like its raining babies! To name just a few... my friend & co-worker Sylvia is due 10 days after me, close Coronado friends Trevor & Kristen are due 2 days before me and one of my favorite actresses Reese Witherspoon is now sporting a bump! Its great to have a little built in crew to talk to (minus Reese of course) about crazy dreams and be able to ask - is this normal?

18 weeks
This week baby W is the size of a bell pepper so this week its Bevis the Bell Pepper. Don't worry the name Bevis is not in the running for actual baby names. Just kind've fun to say for a week.

Here is a little more detail on Bevis the Bell Pepper if you're interested:

Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. Your baby is busy flexing arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. Blood vessels are visible through the thin skin, and ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from your baby's head a bit. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.
