John did a ton of research to find our next car... we wanted good gas mileage, a price we could afford, navigation and I was picky about the color but most of all we wanted a reliable car with lots of space. This weekend we bought a Ford Edge and we both LOVE it. John actually read the owner's manual in bed last night and thanks to the pregnancy hormones I've been a little misty eyed thinking about all the fun road trips we will take in this car.

I think that's because growing up almost every vacation was a roap trip for the Rileys. We had this amazing Oldsmobile Station Wagon with wood paneling, boy was she a beaut! Whether it be to drive from Chicago to North Carolina every 3 years for the Riley reunion or to an amusement park to feed my brother Mike's obsession with rollercoasters we loved that car and I have a feeling our new ride will see just as many exciting adventures.
