Fancy Pizza Night

I want to start off by saying I am no cook. I can make a decent salad and a mean PB & J but most attempts at anything fancy don't typically end well so I keep meals pretty simple. But a co-worker told me about this arugula and fig pizza he made and my ears perked up at 1) pizza = um, yes please and 2) arugula = the only leafy green that I like right now so I thought I would give it a try.

I attempted to make something similar and a more experienced cook would've done a better job. I bought the pizza dough from Trader Joes and my crust was too thick, kind've shaped like Africa and my figs weren't quite ripe enough. Still pretty good, best part of the pizza was I used TJ's balsamic glaze, HELLO! I want to put it on everything! The same co-worker said to put the basalmic glaze on vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries, sounds different but definitely worth a try.
