My Weekend in iPhone Photos

It was a catch up weekend... catch up on sleep after the LA conference, baby research (slightly freaking out that I only have 16 weeks left), client work and a little time with old friends.

1) Since I found out I was allergic to eggs 3 years ago what I've missed the most is fresh baked cookies. I found this egg free Eat Pastry cookie dough at Whole Foods and it is DANGEROUS! I've decided I can't be trusted with it in my weak, pregnant state. So from now on it can only be bought for special occasions. Can a new episode of the Bachelorette be considered a "special occasion"?
2) A couple of my old college roommates were in town - Andy & Dana. We went to Craft & Commerce for a great dinner and it was really fun to catch up after not seeing each other for over 6 years.
3) John went to Vegas for a much needed boys trip. My brother Mike happened to also be there for a conference. I received this photo text at about 2:30 AM.
4) I had to catch up on work a little this weekend, boo. Luckily I had an ice cold San Pellegrino Limonata. Since I can't do it, please take one for the team, add vodka & some frozen raspberries for a summer cocktail... you're welcome.

5) Baby W is on his way in only 105 days, crazy! I found this countdown app on my iPhone. I think I can, I think I can...
6) You get a lot of advice when you're pregnant and I've repeatedly heard this book and this book are the bees knees. John is reading one and I'm reading the other, only problem is they seem to be contradicting one another.
7) Started doing some nursery research this weekend and settled on a little sailor theme, navy blue and white with yellow accents. Obsessed with this moon & stars wall decor I found on Etsy.com wish it wasn't so pricey. Also, see my Pinterest inspiration board for more nursery ideas I'm thinking about.
8) John & I had a nice lunch and walk in Coronado today. As you can tell, my pasty skin could definitely use some sun!

  1. Made your Mom's fudge this weekend for a baptism, YUM YUM YUM. All the chocolate lovers in the room were raving. Thank you Mama Riley!

  2. Meg - Happiest Baby on the Block is the only baby book i read. However, I read it when Maeve was about a month old and was kicking myself for not reading it before. You should both read this one b/c I really think it helps those first three months!! Email if you have anything questions, etc., I can help with!!

    1. Thanks Kristin, definitely feeling overwhelmed so thanks for the advice. John is reading the Happiest Baby book first and I'm reading Baby Wise but having a tough time getting into it, maybe I'll make him swap with me. :) Give Maeve a bear hug for me, love seeing all the adorable pictures of the two of you on FB.
