John & I drove up to Fallbrook yesterday to have a little dinner party with two of my best friends and their husbands (Erin D who is getting married soon and Tonya known for her PB Trolls recipe).
Erin & her fiancé Ryan were house-sitting Ryan's parents country home and had us all over for dinner. We fell in love with their huge vegetable garden and warm, welcoming kitchen. Everything we ate (except for the meat) we picked from their garden - fresh tomatoes and basil for a bruschetta appetizer, asparagus beans and squash with dinner. Yes, I said asparagus beans - I had never heard of them but Ryan cooked them in some coconut oil and wow super flavorful. Baby Dubs & I were happy campers!
